Alexander McQueen CatWalk

Alexander McQueen CatWalk

McQueen shows now have that unsettling dichotomy of celebration and still-shocking disbelief.  The white tweed turned to grey and, as the sound of a flock of birds taking flight took over the speakers, the suits became intricate creations of knitted fur and raw-edged chiffon woven to resemble tweed. Silver metallic skull caps and leather harnesses sitting stiffly over the shoulders might justify them – but tonight’s show was about the reality of brilliantly constructed, beautiful clothes. This time she’s adapted it. It’s different – even the way the girls walk is different.”

McQueen a reinvigoration of the talent and inspiration associated with both the man and the label. McQueen shows always have been shocking.
